3 Effective SEO Tips for Your Blog Posts

In order to have a successful blog, you need to be able to generate targeted traffic on a regular basis. You aren’t writing blog posts only for yourself, you want the public to read them and comment on them. If you want your blog to become well known by people in your niche, you’ll have to do some search engine optimization. The trick is to rank in the search engines for your keywords so people find your blog and visit it. As you write your blog posts, keep the following SEO tactics in mind.

As you create a blog post, use one primary keyword that the whole post revolves around. However, you should also have other keywords that are very close in meaning to your primary one. When researching your niche, keep lateral semantic indexing in mind in order to rank better with Google. So always look for synonyms for your main keyword, and these are your LSI keywords. Your posts should contain at least two of these aside from your primary keyword. It isn’t hard to find these keywords, as the Google Keyword Tool will show you a large number of potential LSI keywords. The best blog posts have several keywords and not only one. Otherwise, it will look like you are keyword stuffing your posts by using only one keyword again and again.

  1. I think one should maintain a keywords density of around 2-4% in each of its blog posts, I have seen very good results with this method.
